We're open in Brisbane

Well the wait is over for QLD as Krispy Kreme has officially landed. April 29 saw an unbelievable response from Brisbanites as they came in the thousands to secure their piece of doughnut history.

Over 30 campers slept their way through the coldest April night Brisbane has had in 9 years to be first in line. Neil Abraham and is family of 9 camped out from 5am Monday morning and took away the coveted 'Golden Ticket' of a years supply of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! A huge thank you to the Abraham family and the other campers who braved the cold to be the first in line.

As the day went on the customers kept growing with the line down the mall being a constant 50m long all day. That was until the afternoon surge hit and the line grew to over 300m in length and stayed that way till all hours of the night.

Our ribbon cutting was a huge success involving Krispy Kreme CEO John McGuigan, Paul Sironen, Kevie Walters as our QLD Fundraising Ambassador as well as Brisbane Broncos own Karmichael Hunt and Justin Hodges present to cut the ribbon and sign some autographs for fans.

Thanks to all of the customers and Friends of Krispy Kreme for their warm welcome and support of Krispy Kreme coming to QLD.
